lastly and the video i just posted tonight is a video of my set from the AR Cosplay Fashion Show. the show was July 29th, and so many people came out, i'm super grateful! for those of you who couldn't this features a little clip from the show, shot by the amazing i love her to pieces
unfortunately i couldn't shoot the entire show, i was backstage most of the night, and there were just so many amazing cosplayers. but i have been told that a full video will be available soon that was shot by the AR team. so when that comes out i'll be sure to link you guys!

So on June 29th a cosplay fashion show will be held at the Richmond Summer Night Market. Some of you may know the night market from my previous videos featuring it on my youtube channel. It's a large outdoor asian market held from 8 to midnight. It an awesome place for food and shopping! they also have a center stage for various shows and bands. In order to promote a new, local con coming this summer, Anime Revolution is holding a cosplay fashion show to get some hype and interest for the convention. It will feature yours truly as well as many other amazing costumes and cosplayers. So if you're in the Richmond area, we'd love to see you. I shall be there in my Lilith costume at the AR promo booth after the show for photos and to help answer any questions

And of course Vixen for being a beautiful Morrigan, and John Heng for being the photographer. He felt badly about the shoot since he felt I should have had more photos to work with. but i had plenty and he's just crazy. after 3 weeks straight of no sleep (sakuracon, finals for the college semester, then fanexpo) i probably wasn't the most pleasant creature to deal with, but they did it swimmingly.

i need to update my cosplay.com profile with the Lilith costume. but i am tres lazy, and i have so many other things i have to do as well. baaaaah so much work! i'll probably continue trying to get as many of my backlogged photoshoots uploaded into a slideshow as possible. next with probably be the Green Lantern shoot from over a year ago. featuring photos by the amazing Molly McIsaac and with the awesome Maiea as Princess Iolande (myself as Sendrina)

now onto the cosplay announcement. in the back of my mind i've been debating on what to wear to cos&effect this year. but i finally came to a decision thanks to a friend of mine. Vixen had suggested a while ago that i cosplay Invader Lum from Urusei Yatsura. it's a really retro, oldschool anime that's funny as hell. i've never cos'd from it due to the rather -ahem- miniscule clothing required. but i figure it will probably be pretty comfortable for a con that's held during a heat wave. i also made a deal with a friend of mine. a secret deal shhhh can't tell you. i shall also be attempting to finish my blood elf warlock. but it's very time consuming :C

it was super fun and i got to meet kevin sorbo :3
i saw a felicia on the escalator and we both got so excited but then i lost her after that. sad times, so rare to see ds people these days. i'm not really sure what my con schedule is going to be after this, i know i shall be attending cos and effect in vancouver. but i'm still undecided between pax (seattle) and akicon(bellevue). we'll which one fits better into my schedule. another one i'm still unsure of is anime revolution in vancouver. but we shall see.
